Dear Auntie Irene and all my Genest cousins…We were so very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Leonard. He was the most gentle, kind, and generous man I\’ve ever met and I was blessed to have him in my life. All of you were doubly blessed to have and enjoy his company every day and I see his good influence in all of you…an influence that extends to your own children, his grandchildren. I know you will mourn his loss but I hope you can remember all that he gave you…faith, hope, love, integrity, strong morals, a kind heart, a gentle disposition…but most of all he gave you a strong and caring family. This last gift of family will carry you through the next while as you remember and celebrate his wonderful life. Knowing Uncle Len, I am sure he wants each of you to carry him with you in your hearts…a place he loves to occupy…as you continue all the various upcoming family events. He will always be there with each of you.

Dear Irene and family
It was always a pleasure to be around Len. I had the opportunity to hunt with him and enjoy some good garage time with him. He was always cheerfull and never complained and he was the type of guy that was a pleasure to be around. He obviously was a very good father because of the calibre of kids he helped raise. They too were all a pleasure to be around, including the grand kids. Our thoughts and prayers will continue for you all.

Wish to express my condolence\’s to you and the family. I remember dropping by to pick you up for School and how busy the house always was. I often think of those times and wonder how I ever would have raised that many children : ) Thinking of you at this sad time.
