It is with great sadness that Leona’s family announces her peaceful passing at Red Deer Hospital.
She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her husband of 63 years, Ted–semicolon– daughters, Patricia (Bob) Hartl , Elaine (Jeff) McLenaghan–semicolon– grandchildren, Janelle Hartl (Andrew), Jared Hartl (Keisha), Ashley (Marco) Pugliese, Paul (Chantelle) Thrussell, Daniel Thrussell–semicolon– great grandchildren, Ava and Luca Pugliese. She also leaves to mourn her loss her sister Millie (Mike) Deck and brother Joe (Amelia) Hihn, and her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Annie Hihn–semicolon– son, Murray–semicolon– brother, Elmer and her sister Marcie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday March 28, 2017 at Good Shepherd Parish 18407-60 Avenue with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
