It is with deep sadness that the family of Layla Said announces her passing on September 12, 2019, at the age of 82 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Harith, Reem (Pierre), and Deena (Bassam); grandchildren, Amanda, Edward, Tanya (Nathan), Laura, Samuel, and Joseph; siblings, Qais, Said (Sharon), Nabeel (Shoushan), and Laith (Claude); as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Layla was predeceased by her spouse, Edward, in 2014; brother, Tariq; sister-in-law, Laila; and parents, Mary and Karim.
A Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, September 16, 2019 at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, AB. A Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB.
