It is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of Lawrence Ngo at the age of 87 years with his family at his side on June 24, 2016. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend who was loved by so many.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife of 60 years, Kit–semicolon– children, Joyanne, Lena (Mark) McRorie, Lucy (Troy) Meiklejohn, and Joseph (Stella)–semicolon– grandchildren, Stephanie, Derek, Nicole, Ryan, Brandon, Ty and Jordyn. He is also survived by sister, Sarah (Bobby) Sue & family and brother, Warren & family.
He is predeceased by parents, Jean and Frank and daughter, Shirley.
The family acknowledges and gratefully thanks Dr. Allison Theman for her amazing kindness and care. The family would also like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Irwin Sandhu and his team at the Cross Cancer Institute, and the staff at St. Joseph’s Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion.
