Dear Mrs. Mah and Wayne: Kelly put up a courageous fight throughout her illness; never had a word of complaint or discontentent during the few times I saw her after her diagnosis – a spirit for which I hold my deepest admiration. She is at peace with the Lord now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless,
    Vincent P. Lee

    Dear Rick,
When I first met you and Kelly, I knew that you had met a very, very special woman in your life. You absolutely glowed. And so did she. While I didn\’t have the opportunity to get to know her, Kelly sounds like an amazing woman from the many things I have now read about her. What a gift it was that you two loved each other and shared the joy of being parents to your lovely daughter. It makes Kelly\’s death seem such a terrible loss and so very senseless and unfair. But she made a tremendous difference in her short life. And, given your benevolent nature, I suspect that you will eventually be bolstered by this experience and make a profound difference too. In the meantime, Brian and I send you our very deepest condolences and hope that you will be able to take the time you need to grieve the loss of your very special partner in life.We are so very very sad about your loss and send our deepest sympathies.

Every once in awhile, we are fortunate enough to witness a \”hero\” in our midst. For cancer patients in this province, Kelly was that hero. Her courage, her strength and her commitment to making health care better for all who are afflicted with this disease is truly admirable, and a legacy for all of us to strive to emulate. Rest in peace, Kelly. And know that you truly did make a difference.

I am very sad to hear of Kelly\’s death. We were good friends in law school and sadly had lost touch, especially after I moved to Calgary. I last saw her at my wedding in 2005, and obviously so much has changed since. I never saw a photo of Audrey but I know she will be lovely, smart, multi talented, and of course, fashionable!
Kelly is always in my memories of law school – I think she\’s in almost every photo! She was a good friend.
Of course, you already know how wonderful she was.
In talking to law school friends about her death, the words that I\’ve heard are: \”articulate, strong, fighter, beautiful, dignity\”.
Cancer won this round with Kelly, but she sure inspired and influenced a lot of people in the last 2 years, a lasting legacy.
This summer we camped a lot and every time out come the wedding gift from you and Kelly to us (little folding blue camping cups), and we will continue to toast her at the campfire.

Please accept my deepest sympathy and regret in the passing of Kelly. It is a very difficult time and I hope that the love and support many people had for Kelly helps you deal with this tragic passing. Kelly was a classmate of mine in law school. I really liked her and had some fun times with her. She had a kind heart and was interested in people. Kelly was always generous in sharing her information and knowledge and was a wonderful supporter of all around her. She will be sadly missed.

Words cannot express the depth of my sorrow and my sincerest sympathies to you. Kelly was a shining example of kindness, beauty, courage, and strength. While she was with us for too short a time on this earth, please know that she has forever touched the hearts and minds of all who knew her.
