Dear Mark and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your dear Mom’s passing. Auntie Kay was a very special person in our lives. My sister Kathy and I remember so well visiting her many times when we were very young. I especially remember the candy store. Life for Uncle Jim, her brother, Joan, her sister and their little sister Kathleen was not easy. My mother wrote about the night Auntie Kay was born in a diary ” I can still remember my father hitching up a team of horses about 9 o’clock at night and going out into a storm to get my Aunt Jenny ( who acted as midwife for the ladies of the district when the doctors found it impossible to drive) Anyway, I was told not to go to sleep and if my mother called me, to answer if she needed anything. My father and aunt arrived home. It was still dark. By the time my mother had called me I heard a baby cry. I heard my aunt and father come in the door. Kathleen was born.”
We were blessed to experience life on the prairies in Radisson with our grandparents. Memories that we cherish and will never forget, especially because we were city kids. (Brats!) Auntie Kay, Auntie Pearl and Uncle Jim gave us live long memories.
I know that her faith has carried her through many ups and downs and now she is resting peacefully. Her faith in God was inspirational and now she is home with God. I know the you will miss her with all your heart.

I would like to send my sincere condolences to my cousin Mark and his family. I have so many wonderful memories of my Auntie Kay during my childhood, and her support to my mother (her older sister) over the years was invaluable.
May the many happy memories of the past sustain you.
