Julie grew up in Marwayne, AB and loved all that growing up in a small town entailed; Lea Park Rodeo, curling bonspiels, hockey tournaments, and knowing everyone in town. Julie was blessed to maintain long-term friendships that started in her childhood especially with her best friend, Muriel Crowther who proceeded her in death.
