On December 12, 2013 Judy passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren and close friends.
One of Judy’s gifts was the ability to connect with each person in her life in a special way. She led the way in ultimate extravagance and appreciated the rewards of life: from knitting parties, road trips, recitals, movie nights, sleepovers, emergency rooms, monster trucks and theatre. She had a supportive and insightful nature that provided guidance and direction to those around her.
A determined and strong-willed woman, Judy was a non-conformist and proud of it. She gave her children, grandchildren and friends immeasurable gifts.
Continuing her proud legacy are her four daughters: Sharmayne (Tom), Kimberley (Richard), Shelly (Ron), Kerri-Lyn and her son Blayne (Michelle)–semicolon– and fifteen grandchildren: Patrick (Christina), Lauren, Taylor and Rachel–semicolon– Krysta and Jayden–semicolon– James, Matthew, Joshua and Adrienne–semicolon– Nicholas, Amber and Palmer–semicolon– Brooke-Lyn and Jacob.
Judy had a passion for animals and surrounded herself with pets. If friends so desire, Memorial Contributions may be made directly to the Edmonton Humane Society, 13620-163 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5V 0B2.
The family expresses their gratitude in your kindness expressed in thought, word and deed, and invite you to join them for a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the Grandin Room at the St. Albert Inn, 156 St. Albert Trail, St. Albert. At Judy’s request, please wear vibrant colours.
