It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Judith Arlene McGinn (nee Cooper) of St Albert on December 10, 2020 at the age of 70 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years Bob McGinn, two beloved daughters Jillian McGinn, and Carrie Gerrard and her only grandson, Brody. She is survived by her two brothers, Rob and his family of Burlington, Rand and his family of Windsor, sister, Dale and her family of Calgary, and many nieces and nephews. As well, a host of loving friends who will remember her infectious laugh, quick wit and her almost permanent smile.
Judy was born in Winnipeg but grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick where she met the love of her life, Bob. She and Bob went on to establish a successful insurance business in St Albert. Upon retirement, they spent their winters in Arizona.
Judy was a kind soul with a deep moral compass. She was compassionate and generous. She was one of a kind.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID restrictions, a Memorial Service will be held in the spring or summer of 2021.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to Judy’s favorite non-profit support group, Inclusion Alberta, 1724 Kingsway NW, Edmonton, AB, T5G 0X5.

Dear Bob, Jillian and Carrie
I am so sorry to hear about Judys’ passing.
She will always be a very special lady and, even though life has taken us all in different directions over the past years, Judy has always had a special place in my heart since our Scuba Diving trip to Australia over 30 years ago.
It has been a privilege and an honour too know that………Judy McGinn was a friend of mine.
My deepest condolences and love to your family. 💐

Louise and I extend our sincere condolences at the passing of Judy, wife and partner in love, mother, grandmother.
Carrie!! Your sharing of music selections with your Mom was a beautiful, loving way to comfort and share with her in her final days.
My big regret is that we have never met any of the western McGinns with the exception of Uncle Robert Malcolm and Doug who visited us in Toronto when I was an undergrad, about 1967.
