The family of Joseph Francois Bouvier of St. Albert is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the age of 92 years.
Joseph will be lovingly missed and remembered by Victorina, his wife of 71 years; children Gail, Lyle (Becky), Robert, Meriem, Laurel, Kim (Rob) and Lynn (Ron); 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and sister Catherine (Geoffrey).
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Damase and Cecilia Bouvier; sisters, Marie Tooke and Margaret Curial and son-in-law Joseph Kieser.
Joseph’s family, and especially his wife, were the focus of his life. He arranged wiener roasts with a campfire as often as he could. He used to play the piano and sing with mom after church on Sundays. Friday night get togethers were an ongoing event.
Dad was also a real lover of travelling. He and Vicki travelled to as many parts of the world as they could fit in. Some of his other interests were woodworking and gardening. Many of his children have pieces in their home that he built. Joseph also built a greenhouse so he could grow his specialty vegetables.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Hope Mission, Edmonton, 9908-106 Ave; Edmonton, AB, T5H 0N6. Tel: (780) 422 – 2018
