John Edward Beaver, age 55 of Edmonton, passed away in his sleep Tuesday, August 24, 2014, in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
John was born on March 26th, 1959 to John and Mary (nee Auger) Beaver in Westlock, Alberta. He completed most of his education in Smith and later moved to Edmonton, when his mother moved from Smith. He has worked in construction for most of his life. John was very friendly but a private person. He had many friends but never settled down. He loved his mother very much and deeply missed her when she passed.
John is survived by his four siblings, Claire Clark, Leonard Beaver, Rita Large, all from Edmonton and Liz Larson of Albia, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a sister and brother-in-law.
John was preceded in death by his parents–semicolon– brother, Gabriel and brother, Lawrence who passed away on September 7, 2012 in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
A Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, 10821 – 96 Street, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on September 4th, 2014, at Sacred Heart Church. A private family burial of the urn will be held at a later time.
