It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Dobek announces her passing on January 19, 2012. Left to cherish her memory is the only love of her life and husband of 63 years, Zefiryn–semicolon– her loving daughters: Christine (Tony), Valerie, Michele (John)–semicolon– 7 grandchildren–semicolon– 2 great grandchildren and extended family in Canada and England.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, T5H 4K1 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985-124 Street, T5M 0H9.
