Jim was a hard-working, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be forever missed by his wife, Susan–semicolon– five children: Lillian (Dominic), Betty (Tom), Sylvia (Allan), Larry (Darlene), and Dave (Cynthia)–semicolon– thirteen grandchildren: Anthony (Lily), Janice, Diane (Boris), Katherine, Bradley (Anny), Christopher (Jacqueline), Melissa (Stanley), Jessica (Mike), Derek, Andrea, Kevin, Natalie, and Alex–semicolon– and two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Alyssa.
Jim was born in Toishan, Canton, China. Jim and Susan immigrated to Canada in the early 1950s and settled in Edmonton, Alberta. Jim was deeply committed to his family and ensured that his children had access to education and opportunity. In his retirement, Jim enjoyed his garden and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Misericordia Hospital Unit 7E and the Edmonton General Hospital Unit 9Y for their compassionate care.

I am so sorry for your loss. For my father I find I remember fondly things as the year progresses; and find out new things as I speak of him to other friends and family. May you also have that experience.
