I was sad to hear of Jimmy’s passing. I was a young girl of 19 when I went to Yellowknife to work. Jimmy and Newton hired me part time at Super A Foods. Jimmy was very good to me and always had a friendly greeting with that cute smile of his. It was an honour knowing him and I would like to pass along my condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear about your dad, guys. I hadn’t seen him in ages but Mom and I were given a bit of news every now and then from the relatives in Calgary who’d occasionally run into him. My mother was feeling guilty about not going to the services but she does poorly after attending these things, particularly around the anniversary of my dad’s passing. So please excuse our absence and know that we are thinking of you. All the best.
