Jean died peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2014 at Jubilee Lodge, Edmonton.
She is survived by her two sons, Lawrence (Evelyn) Filevich and John (Debbie) Filevich–semicolon– four grandchildren, Brent (Christine) Filevich, Nicole (Doug) Gizoski, Heather (Tony) Japuncic, Jocelyn (David) Brown–semicolon– eight great-grandchildren–semicolon– and her sister Winifred Zyla.
Jean was predeceased by first husband Mike and husband Joe–semicolon– as well as all but one of her siblings.
Divine Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 at St. Josaphat’s Cathedral, 10825-97 Street, Edmonton, with interment at St. Peter’s & Paul’s Main Cemetery in Mundare.

Very sorry to hear about your mother”s passing. I have very fond memories of her. When I first came to Edmonton, I stayed with her and she looked after me and treated me almost as a son. She was a very kind lady. Sorry that we will be unable to attend the funeral as we are still down here in Yuma. I would have liked very much to be there.
