One of life’s great paradoxes is that in our times of greatest sorrow we can experience extreme gratitude.
James T. McCaffery “Jim” died surrounded by family on February 5, 2020 after a stroke at the age of 82. Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margie; daughters, Laura Ferguson (Scott, Michael, Sophia and Isabella) and Megan McCaffery (Arno, Jasper and Atticus Willkomm); two sisters, Belle-Ann Patterson and Mary MacDonald (Earle); brother, Fr. Mike and numerous other relatives, too many to mention.
Jim was predeceased by his mother and father, Dr. Hugh and Isobel McCaffery, his brother Hughie McCaffery and little sister Nordine Nigro.
Jim loved his practice of medicine, attempting to golf and looking for balls at the Edmonton Golf and Country Club, going for coffee with his friends and reading medicine.
He shared a special and close relationship with his wife and daughters but especially cherished the time spent with his 5 grandchildren.
