de Rappard Jackie

Jackie de Rappard

September 27, 1935 – March 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Jackie de Rappard announce her passing at the age of 85 years.

Jackie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters, Michele de Rappard, Sherry de Rappard (Jacquie Scarlett), Dee Ann Hopkyns (Dave), and her husband George. Jackie was a devoted Mom, generous woman and loving Banga and Gramma who dearly loved her grandchildren, Ashleigh (Brett) and Shaun Hopkyns, Georgia and Noah de Rappard Yuswack, Nathaniel de Rappard Scott. Also, remembering and missing Jackie is sister Carol Smith (Charlie), Republic, Missouri.

Jackie is predeceased by her parents, Walt and Madeline Muller, her brother Jerry Muller and grandmother Mamie Hirsch all of Springfield, Missouri.

Jackie was a long-time member of the Americans Women’s Association (Edmonton), Edmonton Jaycettes, and volunteered for many years with the Edmonton Girl Guides and the Gold Bar Basketball Program.

Special thanks from all the family to sister-in-laws Tillie Williams and Yolanda Rowley for their continuous and special weekly visits with Jackie.

The family thanks the staff of the Rutherford Retirement Residence and the Devonshire Care Center for their professional and caring service of the past 9 years.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or the Alzheimer Association of Alberta.

Due to the Covid virus restrictions a celebration of life will take place at a later date
