My sincere.condolences go out to all of Jacks, extended family. I worked with Jack,in the early 1960s,at RCAF,Station,Trenton,Ontario, and again, at the ATC Servicing Detachment at Marville France,Jack was a \”One Of A Kind\” guy, always ready to lend a hand, regardless of the job. When we were both retired,I worked with him at the Edmonton Chapter of the,FSNA. Sadly,I watched Jacks quality of life deteriorate in the last few years,he will be at peace now, probably, towing,Yukon aircraft,in the great beyond.

My thoughts and prayers go to you, with the passing of a \”go getter\” friend. I had the opportunity to fish, canoe, have a social one(or two) with Jack in Trenton and Edmonton. Hate to admit it, but as my boss in the Air Force on occassion, I had to do what he told me! Memories will live on of this explicit man and will remember all the good and bad times we shared. God Bless you all,
Jack, relax on your flight, \”PER ARDUA AD ASTRA\”

Sorry to hear about Jack, we had a great visit last year and planned another this year, had given him a number of teeshirts, with pockets of course, and expected to give more this year, but….. Jack and I go back many years to Trenton in 1965, and we spent an intensive year in Tanzania in 1969, where we shared the same unit and dilapitated car. We came through it as good friends. We also kept up visits with Jack and Marie both in Edmonton and Comox. Jack could be rough and tough but was a good and loyal friend. He will be missed..

We had the pleasure and honour to meet Jack and Marie through our wonderful friend Dwayne Scheelar (son) of Marie and Jack. Marie and Jack made us feel like part of the family and we were very grateful for this as we did not have immediate family in Alberta. It is hard to find the right words at this time like this, but we hope that our thoughts and prayers can help to ease your sorrow. Au revoir, Jack, say \”HI\” to Marie for us.
Love
Lise, Guy, Julie, Dallas, Francois and Jaz;yn.
