On August 16, 2011, Henry Powers of St Albert passed away at the age of 89 years. Henry was a flying officer in the RCAF from July 1942 till 1945.
Henry will be lovingly remember by his wife of 34 years Doreen–semicolon– his daughters Barbara Hammond (Garth), Sheila Juhlin (Tim), and Judy Powers–semicolon– his son Brian (Lorraine)–semicolon– his step-sons David Grice (Janelle) and Steven Grice (Susan)–semicolon– his 15 grandchildren–semicolon– his 5 great-grandchildren–semicolon– and his sister Blanche Gau. Henry was predeceased by his daughters Maureen and Linda.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
