
Helen Zawalusky, previously of St. Paul, Alberta, died peacefully at the Citadel Care Centre in St. Albert, Alberta on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
Helen was predeceased by her loving husband, Bill Zawalusky, and two of their children, as well as by Helen’s four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by: their three children–semicolon– Vivian (David) Gillespie, Peggy (Laurent) Charron, and Richard (Tracey Sikorski) Zawalusky, six grandchildren–semicolon– Val (Jason) Giesbrecht, Greg (Alexia) Gillespie, Denis (Denise) Charron, Danielle Charron, Ryan Zawalusky and JoDee Zawalusky, and five great-grandchildren–semicolon– Aaron, Andrew & Sarah Giesbrecht, Berlin Gillespie and David Charron, as well as three of Helen’s siblings–semicolon– John (Elva) Curlock, Irene (Ed) Regoto and Kathleen Sangster, and two sisters-in-law–semicolon– Olga Borchuk and Vicki Topechka.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St Albert, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Samaritan’s Purse International Relief, 20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, AB T3J 5H5, or to a charity of the donor’s choosing, will be gratefully accepted.
