
It is with great sadness that the family of Hazel Larson announces her passing on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the age of 91.
Hazel will be fondly remembered by her children:Larry (Julie), Terry (Thelma), Sharon, and Owen–semicolon– her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also mourning her loss are her brothers: Gerald and Gordon–semicolon– nieces and nephews–semicolon– along with very special friends: Carol Gudmunson and Frances Reid.
Hazel was born and raised in Manitoba, married Karel Larson and lived in the Roe Lake area in Cariboo, BC. Here theyraised their family of three boys and two girls, while owning and operating a sawmill, and a cattle ranch. After the passing of her husband, Hazel has resided in St. Albert, AB for the past 40 years. She was employed at Alberta Liquor Control Board until she retired.
Hazel is predeceased by her husband, Karel and lovely daughter, Karen–semicolon– and seven brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Youville Home, 9 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta. A Memorial and burial will be held at Roe Lake, BC, at a later date.
