Mr. Harvey Chiu Foo (Wife Wendy Pre-Deceased) Poon was Born 6th May 1934 and Passed-away on the 28th December 2020.
Harvey was born in Hoi-Ping, Canton, China and moved to Alberta to the town of Daysland before moving to Edmonton.
Two Brothers(One from Melbourne, Australia and the other from Edmonton, AB) predeceased him.
He leaves the love of his four children, Linda Faye (Dennis) Wong, Judy (Ernie) Mah from Calgary, Michael Poon and Rick Poon. Harvey also leaves eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and close friends.
Harvey became a proprietor/ businessman of several businesses including grocery stores, restaurants and commercial properties.
He had interests in curling, hockey, football and was active in basketball and volleyball; with hobbies in musical instruments of violin and banjo.

Uncle Harvey we will miss you. We offer our condolences to our cousins and their families. We love you all and are saddened by his passing.
Now he is free of pain and able to reunite with his beloved wife.

Mr poon (Harvey). As a long time friend of your son’s Mike and Rick. I wanted to say thank you for accepting me in to your home and family. I have very fond memories of the many years at your home, restaurant, and of course Mayfair foods. The laughter and friendship with the family and accepting me as part of the family is a reflection of the type of man You were. Thank you for your kindness and friendship you gave me over the years. You will always remain in my memories and heart. RIP Harvey and thank you for everything.
