I was Harold\’s physiotherapist while he attended the Adult Day Program. We were friends as well, sharing many happy times talking about our various postings while with the Royal Canadian Air Force (I was a dependant). We especially liked to talk about our time in Moose Jaw, which was a special base and a special time for both of us. (Harold and his family had two postings there.) Our big mutual love was Bridge and every time Harold came to physio, I wrote up the Edmonton Journal\’s bridge hand of the day on my white board and we worked through it while Harold rode the stationary bicycle. He taught me a lot, he was so experienced and a gifted \”numbers man\”. He was a generous, great and wonderful man and I will sorely miss his company. Yes, I helped him stay physically well, but I am a better person just for having known him.
