It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of Hans on December 11, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Hans is survived by his wife, Bernarda, of 16 years–semicolon– two children, Mark (Ximena), Nina (Paul)–semicolon– six grandchildren, Kailee (Curtis), Tyler, Cristina, Amy, Alexander, Sierra–semicolon– one great granddaughter, Hannah–semicolon– three step-children, George, Teresa (Bob), Tony (Lise)–semicolon– six step grandchildren, Selina (Chris), Michael, Chad, Taryn (Kevin), Mark, Brett–semicolon– brothers, Albin, Gunter–semicolon– as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Hans is predeceased by his first wife, Helen–semicolon– parents, Albin and Magdalene–semicolon– sisters, Elle, Ana and Magdalene.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Connelly- McKinley – Edmonton South Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street (Meridian Street can only be accessed by heading SOUTH on the Anthony Henday – Hwy 216. The Meridian Street exit ramp is 1 km SOUTH of the Sherwood Park Fwy.)
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hans may be made to the Alberta Lung Association.
