Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Gordon Rowse passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the age of 87 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse of 61 years, Muriel–semicolon– children: Gary (Donna), Don (Mary), Brian, and Barbara (Roland) Mowatt–semicolon– 11 grandchildren–semicolon– 2 great grandchildren–semicolon– sister, Shirley (John) McLellan–semicolon– as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents: William and Elsie–semicolon– and one sister, Lorraine (William) Plante.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta, with a visitation starting an hour prior to the service at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow service at St. Albert City Cemetery on Poundmaker Road, St. Albert, Alberta.
Memorial Donations may be made in Gordon’s name to Alberta Cancer Foundation Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 9Z9.
