BULAT, Gordon Andrew

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Gordon Andrew Bulat (Husband, Brother, Grandpa, Papa, Godparent and Dad) on May 13, 2014. Gordon lived a full life during his 71 years. He was born in Edmonton on August 7, 1942 and, as an avid Golfer, Fisherman and Epicurean, happily called Edmonton his home.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Lana–semicolon– children Chantel (Jeff) Hodgson of Edmonton, Duane (Jennifer) of Prince Albert, SK, Daren (Roxanne Kosiorek) of Calgary and Dan (Heather Davidson) also of Calgary. He also leaves behind his pride and joy: five granddaughters Jovie, Claudia, Taryn, Emma and Natalie as well as four grandsons Jack, Stephan, Mitchell and Gordon (Junior). He is also survived by his sister Lorraine (Eric) Young, their daughters Sydney, Arden, Clare and Jill, and special friends Harry and Betty Cogill.
He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Leona.

    Dear Lana and Family:
Our family extends our deepest sympathies. May your love and memories of Gord bring you hope in tomorrow and help you find comfort and peace. We will miss seeing Gord enjoying great fun with the grandkids and the obvious pride he had in his family at the get togethers out at the cabin.
From your lake neighbours, John and Carol Hnidan

Dear Lana and Lorraine and families. My heart is with you at this time.
Gord was always a gentleman and who else could tolerate the addition of two extra sisters in his life! With many wonderful and irreplaceable memories,

Lana and Family – My condolences to you and your Family – I worked with Gordon for
thirty years and we had many laughs and interesting conversations. When we were kids, we played on the same ball team so I knew him a long time. He was very proud of his family (rightfully so!) He was a real gentleman who taught me how to behave (Most of the time). He will be missed!

    Lana and Family,

My heart is saddened by the news of Gordon”s passing and my prayers go out to you and Gordon”s love ones.
Gordon hired me back in 1981 as Grounds Manager at the University and in my formative years on campus I learned much from him. Always fair and supportive of my efforts to make life on campus better for everyone.
    Take care

    Lana and family,
Sincere condolences from Ivan & Mary Agnes Radostits on the passing of Gordon. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all! We have so many great memories at the Windy – golfing, eating, drinking, laughing and everything else that goes along with the game of golf. No more 25 cent penalty for 3 putts!
