Mrs. Germaine Marie Cartier (nee Bisson) from Edmonton, died on May 18, 2011, at the Vancouver General Hospital, after suffering a stroke in mid-April. She was born in Beauceville, Quebec, on October 10, 1923 to Yvonne and Wilfrid Bisson.
Germaine was predeceased by her loving husband George-Albert Cartier, and she is survived by their daughter Carmen (living in Vancouver), her sisters–semicolon– Fernande Campbell (living in Edmonton), Evelyn Reese (from Brampton, ON), Jacqueline Bisson (from Nipawin, SK), Louisa Lacasse (from New Wesminster, BC) and Lorraine Nyuli (from Nipawin, SK), and her brother Raymond Bisson ( living in Girouxville, AB). Germaine also leaves behind over 30 nieces and nephews from her immediate family. She is also survived by numerous relatives in Quebec and the eastern United States.
