
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of George “Napoleon” Paquette, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend in Edmonton, Alberta on May 5th, 2022 at the age of 89. He was born in Cold Lake First Nations (Le Goff) on February 10, 1933. He is survived by his wife Leona; his children Dennis (Vinya), Patricia Hamilton (Murray), Carol Franz (Robert), and Darryl (Diane); first cousin, Emma Jacknife; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur and his mother, Harriette; three brothers; eight sisters; and one great-grandchild. He will be forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to National Indigenous Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or an Indigenous charity of your choice.
