We have the fondest memories of Sunday visits at Uncle George and Auntie Mary’s home. There were kids galore playing and laughing and there was always enough dinner for all. I always thought that Uncle and Auntie were the most positive people I had ever met. Smiles were plenty and always an encouraging word, even for the kid that was the instigator and sometimes that was me. I know that Uncle George has been lonely and even mentioned how much he wished he could be with Auntie Mary again. He lived a great life and leaves behind an amazing family filled with love. The blessing is Uncle is no doubt giving Auntie a little smooch and there is no end of smiles and hugs. We will miss Uncle George, but it has been an honor to have known him and loved him. Love Dean, Julie, Jamie and Stephanie and little Jakob Imeson.

Dear Marg, Joan, Lorraine, Lorne, Elliot, Warren & All of the Family,
We are so deeply sad for your loss. Your Dad was such a bright, social, uplifting light in the world and he will be dearly missed. He and Mary were always there for the family – both in times of celebration and grief. They were a steady, loving couple who were there to support us all with a visit and a good chat. We know they are together again – touring around and enjoying each other’s company – just as they did in life. We feel so blessed and grateful to have spent the time we did with him on the Zoom calls for the past few months. It was a beautiful gift to us both. Ernie was so grateful to have had the chance to talk to him in his last moments with us. We are here for you and send you our love – now and always.
Love Uncle Ernie & Aunty Jean

I’ll always remember Uncle George’s big, gentle hug and warm smile every time that I was lucky enough to see him. He lit up a room with just by being in it. He and Aunty Mary were such beautiful loving people and I always felt such joy when I got to spend time with them both. There was always a new story or adventure that they had been on and a laugh about something or another. I will miss Uncle’s loving smile and infectious laughter and not having gotten one more warm hug from him. I know he’s with Aunty now and loving seeing and being with her again. Wayne and I are sending so much love to all of the family along with our deepest sympathy and condolences.

Sending all the family our sincerest condolences. Although our contact is not recent, I do remember your father at family gatherings. I always was fascinated with your large family and how Uncle George and Aunt Mary was always an unit. I hope your memories will make this time easier and I am sure you are comforted, as I was with mine, with the thought that your parents are united again.
Deepest regards,
Lauralyn (nee Imeson) and Reg Radford

Lindley and Debbie Imeson says
We are sincerely sorry for your loss. Watching Uncle George’s service today and seeing the pictures, my mind rushes back to some of the best memories we could have of Uncle George and Auntie Mary. Our families were larger than most but Uncle George, just like his brothers and sisters, was the very best when his family was present. We had fun without things to occupy our time together, just playing and being ourselves and creating our own fun, that was the Imeson way. Uncle and Auntie no doubt had to temper our enthusiasm for the benefit of their sanity but deep down inside they loved to see us having fun and quietly egged us on, just lower the volume a bit was the only request. We cherish those memories and that makes today a celebration for Uncle George, we are sad at his passing just as we were with Auntie Mary, but everyone knew their never ending love for each other because they were proud of that love and displayed it openly instilling in us those values we all have and share now as adult Imesons. How lucky we all were, we shall never forget Uncle George. From Debbie and I as well as our boys and their families now we send our heartfelt sympathy to all, the only thing that has changed is we finally did learn how to “tone it down” Uncle George, we really did. Our love to all of you from all of us. God bless and be well.

In watching the service today, it made me realize what a profound impact Uncle George and Aunty Mary, had on all of you and everyone in his life. He instilled in all of you a true sense of family, integrity and love. Although we never got to spend much time over the years with you all, I know that dad (Roy) and your dad indeed had a special bond. Perhaps they now are sharing a joke, or a good hug ! Wishes from all of us !!! And never forget the memories!!!
