George passed peacefully at the wonderful age of 99 years and 10 months, having been visited by all his immediate family. He was predeceased by his loving wife Theresa–semicolon– daughter Jeanette, and six siblings. He leaves a living legacy of three children, Alfred (Madeleine), Lucille (Tom), Pauline (Allan)–semicolon– nine grandchildren, Nathalie (Michael), Annique (Jon), Nadine, Diane, Richelle (Tyson), Reanne (Matt), Kerstin, Frans (Robbyn) and Ashley–semicolon– 13 great grandchildren, Liam, Caleb, Julian, Madeleine, Felix, Benoit, Ryker, Arien, Alivia, Sadie, Max, Teya, and Ophelia.
He will be greatly missed by his many relatives and friends.
Following George’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Funeral Mass will be held on October 13, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Ave. St. Albert, AB.
For those who wish, donations in George’s memory may be made to the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation Palliative Care at the Wetaskiwin Hospital.
