
Genevieve, fondly known as Vieve, passed away on October 4, 2013. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend.
She will be forever loved and missed by two sisters, Frances Lefebvre and Alberta Elcombe–semicolon– brother, Dr. Joseph (Marie) Moreau–semicolon– as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many friends and former students.
She was born in Hoey, Saskatchewan to Dr. Pierre Moreau and Mary Ellen McKinnon. Vieve was educated at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Alberta and taught French for many years in Camrose, Riley, Bon Accord, Banff, Edmonton and retired from Archbishop O’Leary.
She enjoyed traveling, her cottage at Gregg Lake, reading, nature and hiking.
She was predeceased by her parents–semicolon– sister, Marie Donahgue and three nieces, Pauline, Marie and Michelle.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Glenrose Hospital and the Lynnwood Auxiliary Hospital where she received loving care, compassion and support for the last five years of her life.

A Celebration and Funeral Service of Vieve’s Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 Street, Edmonton.
