Although we have not seen each other for many years, Gary still found the time to keep in touch with his family in Ontario.
We will always remember Gary as a very happy, friendly, outgoing kid with a great sense of humor and who was a lot of fun to be around. Even as an adult, Gary still possessed these same wonderful traits, and many more.
Gary will truly be missed all who knew and loved him.
Godspeed dear cousin Gary.
Our sincerest condolences to Aunt Ella, Mary-Lou and Sharon and your families.

I was very saddened to hear of Gary\’s passing. I have very fond old memories of hanging out with Gary, along with our friend Mike V. We had good times going around Allendale and hanging out at the Barrie Arena. My mother remembers how I spent many hours on the phone with Gary just chatting about nothing, as teens used to do \”back in the day\”. My most sincere of condolences to the family.

Regrettably I am only learning of Gumby\’s passing today (March 3, 2013) and I am sorry that my life has become so distant from him that this is a fact. Gumby and I were roommates for 3 years when we lived in the Bahamas on Paradise Island. Those years were special days to me and I believe to Gary as well. My life was changed by my time living with the Gumpster, and I will hold him fondly in my memories until the day I die. I still share the incredible stories when the moment arises. There are few people in the world who were as well liked as Jimmy (Gumbrella) – another of his alius\’. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace Gary. You and I were inseparable as kids in the 70s. Floor hockey in your bedroom and playing catch in the park are my fondest memories. When I go back to Barrie I drive by our old homes and think of those wonderful carefree days we spent together. In your most recent trip back to Ontario you made contact with me in attempts to get together. Unfortunately we did not get to meet. Today I learn of your passing. Today I have lost an old friend. Rest in peace Cur.
