Sadly, we announce the passing of Garth who was a devoted husband, fantastic father, delighted grandfather, and a true friend to so many.
Garth went to be with his father, Jack; sister, Mary-lynn; friend, Trevor; Uncle Jim; and many others who he loved and went before him.
He leaves behind his wife Tracy of 34 years; sons, Trent (Rachael) and Garrett (Mary); two beautiful grandchildren, Harbour and Kenna; sister and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; Mother, Gerry; Mother and Father-in-law, Marge and Royce; as well as an abundance of close friends and family, but especially lifelong friends from high school, Terry, Teresa, Jan (Tim), Glenn and Yvonne.
The family intends to do a zoom Celebration of Life in late March. If you wish to have an email linking you to this, please email tracycook@shaw.ca to ensure this is sent out to you. Once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, we will do a Celebration “GARTH STYLE” in his loved basement for some shared drinks, popcorn, loud music, and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to a place Garth loved and supported: Birch Bay Ranch.

Garth touched so many lives, the man with a growl that had a heart of gold, I will continue to banter with you as we did it so well.
To the entire Cook family, look around you he is there, still always offering a comment.
Love you buddy and the entire family, I send my deepest condolences, one of the good ones has left us in person only, but his spirit will live on forever.
