On Tuesday, February 15, 2011, Frank Douglas Schriver of Sherwood Park Alberta passed away at Fort Saskatchewan Hospital. Frank was predeceased by his wife Bessie (Currie) Schriver. He will be lovingly remembered by his three sons, Kim (Ruth), Frank (Pam) and Randy (Karen). Frank will be missed by his six grandchildren, Scott, Steven, Kari, Krista, Joey and Wanda–semicolon– and the many friends he had made in his life.
Frank was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces, entrepreneur, husband, father and friend to many. He had a zest for life, and was quick to strike up a conversation with everyone he met. Frank did not leave anything on the table, he lived his life to the fullest. In his later years, Frank moved to Alberta to be with his sons and especially his grandchildren, whom he so dearly loved.
Until we hold your hand again.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital for the compassionate care given to Pappy.

My dearest friend, Frank:
You aren\’t able to read this but I think you always knew you were in my heart. You are in a better place and some day I will see you again when I join you there. Your partnership in cards was awesome and I am honored that I was one of your favorite pards. Singing for you gave me great pleasure. I will sing for you again, if not here on earth, when I join you in heaven. I am going to miss you terribly! Thank you for being my friend and allowing me to get to know you.
Love,
Jean

What a loss to our internet family! Frank was so liked and respected. He loved playing cards and was such a delight to have in my tourneys. He will be missed.
I know it hurts to not have him here, to talk to, to hug, or play with. But he is always with you. Memories are wonderful things. So, as for me, when I think of Frank, I will smile, because I have great memories of all the times in the rooms playing. God Bless your family! Always, Arletta aka Atepa_Fala HA of Dreamweavers
