
Frank Fleiger, beloved son, brother, uncle, passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of December 17, 2017 in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands at the age of 55.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. David and Maureen Fleiger, Edmonton, his sisters Michele Fleiger (Paul) Edmonton and Jacqueline Geremia Calgary, his brother Shane Fleiger (Alma) Calgary, his two nephews Andrew and Liam Brown, Edmonton, his two nieces Kathleen and Morgan Geremia, Calgary and many aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada and the United States.
Frank was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. After living in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Frank and his family settled in Edmonton, Alberta.
After many successful years as a restaurant manager in Canada, Frank moved to Grand Cayman. Frank became manager of Eats, Legendz and Yoshi Sushi restaurant and in 2005 began the legacy that is Copper Falls Steakhouse, a very successful restaurant on the island.
Frank’s greatest passions in life were his family, his restaurant and golfing. He was also an avid Oilers fan. He recorded all their games so he could watch them after work, always cautioning not to tell him the score!!
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
