It is with great sadness that the family of (Frances) Judy Murphy, announces her passing after a brief illness, on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016, at the age of 73 years.
Judy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cathy (Phil) Whelan, John (Tammy), and Paul (Michele)–semicolon– grandchildren, Erin Whelan, Josh, Connor, Kaitlyn and Aidan–semicolon– and numerous dear friends. Judy goes to join her soulmate and husband, Terry, and her parents Ethel and Norman Wright and brother, Donnie.
Judy was born in Drumheller in 1943 and moved to Sherwood Park in 1971 to raise her family. She brought the love of music to countless children through her 40 years of teaching piano in the Sherwood Park area. She was actively involved with ACT Edmonettes and their work to help the handicapped children of Alberta. Her involvement with CFM brought into her life a new family where she found love and support that filled her life with happiness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park), with a viewing to take place one hour prior to the service.
