Heartfelt condolences to Fern’s family.
Jim and I both knew Fern – Jim who worked for Fern at ETS as well as I who also worked there and as the daughter of Leigh Tracy who was General Manager at ETS working with Fern for many years.
We will always remember him for his humor and his dedication to family and friends.
Patrick Tracy says
To the Roy family. I had the absolute pleasure of knowing Fern through my father Leigh Tracy. I also had the rich experience of being able to work in his presence over several summers at Edmonton Tinsmith. Fern was an absolute joy to be around. In the rough and tumble atmosphere of that sheet metal shop, Fern was indeed brilliance in a dim world. He was one of my inspirations to go on to become a journeyman Tinsmith as well as go on to formal academic education. Peace to you all. Patrick Tracy, Edmonton Police Service Retired, Chaplain, Burnaby RCMP Detachment.
