FRYER, Esther Alma (nee: Hennig)
On October 26, 2012, mom and grandma peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior at 87 years of age.
Born in Golden Spike, Alberta, on December 6, 1924, Esther grew up in the Wembley area where her family moved to homestead. Esther made her home in Edmonton after her husband Harold contracted polio in 1953.
She is survived by her three children–semicolon– Gerald (Sue) Fryer, of
Ft Smith, NWT, Robert Fryer and Catherine (Jeff) McCallum of Edmonton, five grandchildren–semicolon– Jason (Lee) Fryer, Jeremiah (Elizabeth) McCallum, Jonathan (Hailey) McCallum, Lisa (Anson) Fryer, and Janine Fryer, as well as 4 great grandchildren–semicolon– Riley Fryer, Chloe and Leland Daniels, and Evelyn McCallum.
Esther was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1981 and her four sisters and brother.
A Graveside Service will take place at Beechmount Cemetery, 12420-104 Street, Edmonton on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4638-117 Ave NW, Edmonton, at 1:00 p.m.
