It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ella Regier. She was born in November of 1926 and passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 94 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, are her children, Terry, Ron, Barb (Hans), and Lois (Rolly); grandchildren, Brad, Melanie (Allan), Angela (Jeff), Shawna (Stephen), Steven (Tracy), and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Grace, Madeline, Jordan, Lincoln, Brooke, Jack, Seeley, Walker, and Remington; sister Jenny; sister-in-law Marie of Seaforth, ON, and her children Karen and Lynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ella was predeceased by her husband Joseph Regier; granddaughter Pamela; parents, Pete and Alida Svedberg; siblings, Gus, Evert, Najme, Oscar, William, Elsie, Nima, Roy, and Mary; brother-in-law Alvin; sisters-in-law, Dorene Smith and Helen Svedberg; nephew Mike; and other relatives.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021, at St. Charles Parish, 17511 – 112 Street, with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Covid-19 protocol is enforced – 50 people maximum. If you wish to attend, please contact the family.
The family would like to thank the staff on 3B at Dickinsfield Extended Care Facility for the care and compassion she received.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
