My condolences to you all. Elaine was my “other” mom and my co-worker in my teens. I have so very many memories of her and her fantastic sense of humour. I can only imagine what a huge loss this is for your entire family. Her volunteer efforts in St. Albert are so very commendable. She was a very special person and will be missed by many. My heart goes out to you all.

Thanks Laurie!

Our Sincerest Sympathies for the loss of your dear Mom to
Stu, Liana and all the Supple Families..
We will always remember Elaine as being a strong and courageous woman. The matriarch of your family.
May her journey back to the Stars in the Heavens above be swift and gentle.
Perhaps this little poem/Song to her beautiful Soul will bring you comfort at this time.of sadness.
AS YOU LEAVE
As you leave this earth
The reason seems unfair
Your journey was so dear
All that you have been
All that you have shared
Your path is always here
A legacy for eternity
Remembering your joy
Gifts of you are in my heart
The essence of Devine
Winds will whisper
A Star will Shine
As you leave this earth
Your love is everywhere

Sincere condolences to all of Elaine’s family.
The online service was a such a beautiful tribute to Elaine.
Her presence in our “Village” was just as it was in the greater community; she was always very eager to lend a hand to volunteer and help plan and organize events.
We will miss her quick sense of humor and the pride she took in her flower beds.
Rest In Peace dear neighbor

Sincere condolences to all of Elaine’s family. I’m happy this service was available on line, as I was unable to attend. I was a friend of Doug, Blair, and Stewart and we spent many hours chilling at Smittys and probably being a nuisance to Elaine and staff. Always such a positive and happy lady and will always remember her for that.

Sincere condolences to Elaine’s family as you grieve her departure in days to come. May Angels welcome her to her eternal rest. Her giving of herself as a volunteer was such a witness to us all. We used to exchanged puzzles with Elaine (before covid) and she often told us “I don’t spend to much time on them, but as I pass by the table I just pluck a piece in”. With all her volunteering it is amazing she even got to do puzzles. Another memory I have of Elaine was her little box of candies she kept on a high shelf at the food bank, and when children of volunteers came through she would say, “come here I have something for you”. This was a big hit with the kids including my grand daughter who loved to go in to see the “candy lady”. She had a way with kids. I haven’t volunteered there for a few years, but I remember her dedication, willingness to serve in a well organized manner. I attended the funeral online and prayed for her and her family. I have re-listened to the great meaningful songs you choose for her farewell. Rest well Elaine. Eternal Memories.
