It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Paul shares that he passed away peacefully with family at his side on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre.
Ed was born on February 14, 1938 in Barrhead, AB. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 year Fern, his children Les (Cheryl), Sherry (Denis) Burkin, Angela (Brent) Cadrain–semicolon– grandchildren Nicole (Cody), Evan, Jenianne (Carl), Kristena (Brad), Sheldon (Falon) and Breanna–semicolon– great grandchildren William and Kailey , sisters Helen (Gord) Field and Olga Roszko–semicolon– many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Ed is predeceased by his parents Ewald and Eva–semicolon– siblings Adeline, Alexander, Lawrence, brother-in-law John and his great granddaughter Emily Rose.
Ed will be remembered as a strong, hardworking man with a sense of humor. He worked as an equipment operator in construction and loved working on the farm. He has shared the values of hard work and doing what you love with his entire family. He will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have him in their lives.
Cremation has taken place and as per his wishes there will not be a funeral service.
….and on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise & said “I need a caretaker.” so God made a Farmer.
