It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edith at the age of 87 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Ray of over 50 years–semicolon– daughter Diane (Darren)–semicolon– son Greg (Jeanette)–semicolon– granddaughter Keisha – Lynn, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Hulda and Edward–semicolon– siblings: Margaret, Bud, Fred, Lou and Art.
Edith graduated from Lamont Nursing School in the early 50’s, she then went on to work for the government in the Charles Camsell Hospital. She flew on many mercy missions to escort patients back and forth from the Camsell to various northern outposts. When the Camsell closed she worked in both St. Albert Sturgeon Hospitals until she retired in 1993. After retiring she loved to travel with her husband Ray on cruises and land trips to various countries.
“EC” you will be fondly cherished and missed, we will all remember your smiles, your laughter and of course your Dill Pickles!
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:30 a.m., on Friday October 5, 2018 at St. Albert Catholic Church, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, AB.
