
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Dwayne Martiniuk of Edmonton, on Friday, October 25, 2013, at the age of 57 years.
Dwayne is survived by his only daughter, Maranda–semicolon– mother, Victoria–semicolon– sister, Pam Firth (Rick)–semicolon– sister-in-law, Janice Martiniuk–semicolon– niece, Kimberly–semicolon– and nephews, David, Ryan, Matthew and Evan. He will also be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and many wonderful friends, whose lives he touched along the way.
He was predeceased by his father, John in 1999 and his brother, Reginald in 2003.
In keeping with Dwayne’s generous and giving nature, he is able to keep helping people even after he is gone. We are honored and grateful that he was able to be an organ and tissue donor.
Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Beechmount Cemetery, 12420-104 Street, Edmonton. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to Samaritan’s Purse (www.samaritanspurse.ca) or to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (www.bafound.org).

Dwayne will be missed and remembered. He was a really good friend in many ways. From ski trips and camping trips, cups of coffee, to riding in the back of his old Mustang with his girlfriend up front. Dwayne was very giving and always ready to help.
I will always remember him fondly. There were many good times with Dwayne and Reg. Both were great men !
