It is with profound sadness that the family of, Donald Richard Phillips announces his peaceful passing on July 8, 2016 at the age of 81.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Doug (Debbie) and John (Laurie)–semicolon– grandchildren, Tara, Dave, Becca and Chelsey–semicolon– great grandchildren, Kaleb and Autumn.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Barbara of 43 years and his parents: William and Mary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Parish, 75 Poirier Avenue St Albert.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Donald’s name to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 10117 Jasper Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T5J 1W8

I am sad to learn of Don”s passing. He was a man of quality and integrity who loved his family and they in turn loved him.
Don gave his best of being an outstanding son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather He offered his loyal friendship to all who knew him. I, too, will miss Don, he and Barbara have contributed to my life in such a positive way.
To Doug, Debbie, Rebecca and David, now you can carry Don”s values forward in your lives because you too are the very best of the best also. Your kindness to Don was remarkable. I am proud to call you my family.my deepest sympathy. Donna Jean.
