On January 5, 2018, Delia passed away peacefully at the age of 96.
Delia was predeceased by her loving husband, John–semicolon– son John “Jack” Andrew–semicolon– and grandson Sean.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jim (Cathy) and their son Matthew (Erin)–semicolon– Terri (Ken) Foote and their daughter Kelsey (Graham)–semicolon– Kathy (James) Fraser and their children, Meghan, Craig (Bailey) and Neil–semicolon– Martin (Kim)–semicolon– daughter-in-law Jane and her son Tim (Agnes)–semicolon– and by great-grandchildren, Addison and Connor.
The family would like to thank the staff at Jasper Place Continuing Care Centre.
A Prayer Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at the same location at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation – Cross Cancer Institute.

It was with a heavy heart when my brother James let us know about your dear mom’s passing Katie. We’ll all remember her as the beautiful, funny, wonderful woman she was, with an amazing smile that was so welcoming and lit up the room. Please know although we are unable to be there we will hold you and all your family in our thoughts and prayers. Love and light.
