Dean Timothy (Tim) Reinholt

Reinholt Tim Edit

Dean Timothy (Tim) Reinholt
September 20, 1966 – October 31, 2021

To view the service, please click here.

It is with heavy hearts that Tim’s family announce his unexpected passing on October 31st from cardiovascular complications. He left our world surrounded by people who loved him.

Tim is survived by his wife Shelly; stepdaughters Danielle and Kaitlyn; parents, Fred (Maxine); parents-in-law George and Frances Sakowich; brothers Ted (Yette) and Todd; sister-in-law Karen (Brian), brothers-in-law Kevin, Brad (Cherri) and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family.

Tim was born in the University of Alberta hospital, Edmonton, on September 20, 1966, and lived his entire life in the Edmonton area. Although a private man, his engaging, funny, and charismatic character were attributes he was known and loved for – when he laughed one could not help but laugh with him. He was wise beyond words.

A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 St NW, Edmonton on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Due to COVID restrictions, guests are required to provide ID and documentation of double vaccination, or a negative antigen/PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to the service. Guests who are unable to attend are welcome to join Tim’s family via a livestream of the service.

In lieu of floral tributes, Tim’s family asks that donations be made to the University Hospital Foundation – Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

To Shelly and Tim’s family. I just learned of Tim’s passing today and am in a bit of shock. I watched the beautiful service which is such a tribute to the man Tim is. So loyal, so quiet, so smart.

My heart reaches out to fellow Servus employees grieving Tim’s passing. I love that Todd, Tim’s brother said that this is not closure; Tim is not with us yet we will continue to have a relationship with him. My biggest hugs to Shelly, her beautiful girls, Tim’s parents and brothers and families.

    Blessings.
