It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Dawn Caron Marie Fenton announces her passing on the afternoon of April 3rd, 2012, at the age of 49 years.
Dawn was a treasured daughter, mother, sister and friend. She will be cherished and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Ashlyn–semicolon– parents, Rita Chenier and John Fenton–semicolon– best friend and partner, Hossein Salmanzadeh and sister, Christine. Dawn will also be fondly remembered by her niece, nephews and dear friends.
Throughout her life Dawn was an artist at heart. Whether amusing her parents as a child with her imaginative endeavours, delighting her daughter with sketching and decorating cookies together or attaining her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Dawn brought a free spirited, youthful creativity to any task and painted the lives she touched with the colours of kindness, wit and joy.
A private service was held.
With special thanks to the staff of unit 5D4, who all did their best to make Dawn’s last days comfortable and for the hospital’s continued commitment to the arts, memorial donations in Dawn’s honour may be made to:
