It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Van Tornhout announces his passing on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the age of 77 years.
Dan was a dedicated family man who loved his family and enjoyed teaching them about the great outdoors and instilling an appreciation of nature.
Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gladys–semicolon– daughter, Karen (Terry)–semicolon– grandchildren: Lyndsay (Tim), Cassie (Scott), and Myles–semicolon– brother, Dave (Angie)–semicolon– sister, Marlene–semicolon– as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dan was predeceased by his brother, Gabe–semicolon– son, Dean and granddaughter, Brittany.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta. Cremation has taken place.
