It is with great sorrow that we are announcing the passing of Dana Jo-Anne Carson (Vogel) on February 4, 2023. Dana passed away in her sleep at home after a two-year battle with ALS.
She leaves to mourn her husband of 35 years, Daniel John; brother, Marlowe (Dariel); sister; Holly; daughter, Christa Roby; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Anne Vogel.
Dana was born and raised in Edmonton with some later moves to Vancouver, Calgary, and Bragg Creek. Dana loved to travel and would always be on the move to see what was over the horizon. She was always a good friend and host to many people – many house and yard parties were well attended throughout the years.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, February 17, 2023, in Resurrection Church, 10555-50a St. Edmonton.

I am so sorry to hear about Dana’s passing. I remember her being full of life, always seeming so happy, and willing to strike up a conversation with anyone. She always made people feel comfortable and happy. May she rest in peace and may your family find comfort during this time.
