It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Colleen Ferguson of Edmonton, AB following a very brief but courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Colleen was a wonderful wife and loving mother who always put her family first. She also immensely enjoyed her grandchildren that she was so proud of and loved to spoil. She will always be an inspiration and hero to her loving family. As our heart and soul, she will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday June 21, 2012 at Connelly-McKinley Sherwood Park – Mill Woods Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton. (Access Meridian Street off Anthony Henday 216S south of Wye Road)

Colleen was a great lady. I was so glad having her as a chaperone for camps and tours. I will always fondly remember the one camp that all the adults candled their ears, well, Colleen only did one ear… or the tour where colleen did her first \”campfire shooter\” and almost set the grass on fire. She was a loving, fun and generous lady. She also never took any guff and told you like it was. I admired her for that. I am so blessed to have known Colleen as not only a band mom but a friend. She will be missed greatly. Thank you Colleen for your beautiful daughters, Erin and Sheena, who I have watched grow up into spectacular, generous, loving and kind women, just like you. My deepest Sympathies to you all.

I just wanted to convey how deeply sorry I was to hear of Colleen\’s death. I know Colleen through work and always found her to be so friendly, kind, and willing to help. She loved to talk about her family and grandchildren and posted their pictures in her room. We had such a good visit when she was at the GNH for a test about 2 wks. ago. I told her how much we missed seeing her around. So, please know that staff at the GNH care and thought highly of Colleen. She is missed!! Eileen Moore
